Maintenance

Maintenance on this type of lighting is essential given the importance of its function, and under the requirements of British Standards BS5266 the system should receive a minimum of one annual discharge test to be carried out and certified by a competent person. The purpose of this test is to ensure that a suitable amount of light is afforded for an equally suitable amount of time, dependent upon the requirement of the premises.
